Terms of Use

Effective October 29, 2026

The short version: Galaxicade is free to play. Have fun and don't cheat or misuse it. Coins and items are just for fun: they have no real-world value and can't be bought, sold or cashed out. Your progress is saved on your device, so clearing your browser data erases it. The games are provided as they are.

1. Agreement

These Terms are an agreement between you and K5 Creations LLC, an Iowa limited liability company ("we", "us"), which operates Galaxicade at galaxicade.com, including the games it hosts (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. Who can play

Anyone can play. If you are under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, please review these Terms with a parent or guardian. They agree to them on your behalf.

3. Your license to play

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to play the Service for your own non-commercial entertainment. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or rent the games, their code, art or sound, and you may not reverse-engineer them, except as the law allows or as an open-source license listed on our Credits page permits for that component.

4. Coins, items and progress

Galaxy coins, ranks, badges, themes, avatars, frames, titles, skins and other in-game items ("Virtual Items") are earned by playing. They are not money, have no cash value, and cannot be bought from us, sold, traded, transferred or redeemed for anything outside the Service.
You don't own Virtual Items. You have a limited right to use them in the Service.
Your progress and Virtual Items are stored only on your device. They may be lost if you clear your browser data, change devices or browsers, or if storage fails. We can't restore them.
We may change, rebalance, add or remove games, prices, rewards and Virtual Items at any time.

5. Fair play

Please don't:

cheat, edit saved data, use bots or exploit bugs to gain rewards. If you find a bug, tell us.
interfere with the Service, its servers or its ads, or try to access anything you're not meant to.
block ads in ways that break the Service, or fake ad views or interactions.
use the Service in any unlawful way.

6. Ads

The Service is free because it shows ads, for example after a game ends or between games. Ads are provided by third parties, and we are not responsible for advertisers' products, websites or offers. Rewarded ads are optional. A reward is granted only when the ad is completed and may be unavailable at times.

7. Our content and brand

The Service, including the games, their names, art, sound, code and the Galaxicade™ name and logo, belongs to K5 Creations LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Third-party components are used under their licenses, listed on our Credits page.

8. Third-party sites

The Service may link to or show content from other websites and services, such as ads or partner portals. Their own terms and policies apply, and we are not responsible for them.

9. Changes and availability

We may update, change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We may update these Terms. The effective date above shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the new Terms.

10. Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DON'T PROMISE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR THAT PROGRESS WILL NEVER BE LOST.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, K5 CREATIONS LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROGRESS OR VIRTUAL ITEMS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO US $50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Iowa, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction. If you live in a country whose consumer laws give you the right to bring claims in your local courts or under your local law, nothing here takes that right away.

13. General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our not enforcing a provision isn't a waiver. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
